I had such a fun time with this game! I would've tried longer if I'd had more time. I was definitely getting better!

YOOOO thank you so much for playing!

Really hope you enjoyed it! How did it feel with a controller? I actually never tried to play it with one while making it hahahah

Appreciate the support 🙏

The controller sensitivity and everything was actually really good! The only remark I'd have was that sometimes it was a little difficult to hover over a book on the ground and grab it, but maybe that would be similarly challenging with a mouse because they're so small. I'm so bad at running around with WASD though, so any controller support in games is always greatly appreciated by me, haha.

I couldn't run your game so... 0/10

harsh, issue must be on your end - what version of windows are you running?

windows 10. And my pc is an HP all in one.

might need to update your graphics card drivers to work with vulkan. nobody else is having this issue, very strange.

My all in one has vulkan 1.0...

needs Vulkan 1.2

Anytime anyone asks "What possibly can go wrong?", something surely will go wrong!;) I like the terrifying jump scares. What about if in each returning of a book a random nook become a passage into some dangerous dimension (watch the sci-fi horror "Event Horizon")?

ooooh i like this. i intend to add more features to the game and bring it to steam if people like it enough :) lots of stuff i can do with it to continue the storyline! i want extra rooms and maybe a VHS tape section and "Video return" hahah all this to facilitate more enemies with different movement personalities.

Also I LOVE EVENT HORIZON. One of the best scifi horror movies of ALL TIME!

Hey REMBOT! You have a really interesting retro style! would you like to collaborate?

Have you considered giving the player some additional info, like the row of the section the book belongs in?

i have, very thoroughly. the way it's tuned, it would be too easy if there was a pattern to it besides fiction/non-fiction. in future updates i plan on adding a simple map to the wall, so you can find out.. but you have to look away hehe 👀
